Alma Vale Farms has been home to spelling and agistment for horses for over 100 years, with the team continually refining the art of equine care.

The complex commenced new ownership from November 2015. Now family owned and run by the Golchert family, Alma Vale Farms is the best choice when entrusting care of your horses.

Originally from a cattle property near Mundubbera in rural Queensland, horses have always been an important part of the Golchert family livelihood, with the entire family developing a keen understanding of how valued and significant horses are within people’s lives.

Venturing in to breeding of Show, Paint and Quarter Horses the Golchert family soon became specialised in the management of horses and have naturally moved in to securing Alma Vale Farms to continue their expertise. The Golchert family take pride in continuing to grow the complex as a renowned spelling and agistment property.

Located just a short 20-minute drive from the Toowoomba CBD, the Alma Vale Farms Arena provides the perfect venue for events, horse riding clinics, horse handling clinics, training or exercising and schooling horses.

Available for hire 7 days a week, the fenced sand arena covers a total area of 103m x 30m, which can be split into two smaller arenas if required.

Users of the arena can also take advantage of the first-class facilities and services at Alma Vale Farms, including:
• 8 horse electric walker
• Round yard (lined rubber belting)

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• We ask that all users of Alma Vale Farms are considerate of the grounds and place any rubbish in the bins provided
• Please refrain from tying up horses along the arena fences
• Keep all gates closed
• Bio Security applies
• Horse stables to be left in a clean condition after use
• All horse riders must sign a waiver and wear appropriate safety gear
