Barjarg is about 20kms out of Mansfield, which is at the base of the ski slopes of Mt Buller and Mt Stirling. Mt Stirling has some great bush riding on trails & is about an hour away.

Our property is right beside the State forest so you can ride out our gate & within 5 minutes riding on a gravel road you are in Strathbogie State Forest. There is a lake about 10 minutes down the road & again access to Samaria State forest. Barjarg is on the Midland Highway running from Melbourne via Yea to Benalla, which is about 40 minutes away. Mansfield has a Pony Club grounds with a great sand arena suitable for camp-drafting, showjumping and dressage. There is an Adult Riding Club in Mansfield and a number of other horse related clubs.

Accommodation is a 1 bedroom cottage (one double bed & living room with a single bed but can sleep more) older style but really comfy. There is a bathroom (shower only) and toilet, kitchen with stove top and microwave and fridge. Heating is a wood heater.
