Valley View Cottages and Farmstay is centrally located at Cedar Creek / Luscombe, which borders the scenic rim and is midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We are within easy driving distance to Gold Coast attractions, Tamborine Mountain, Canungra, Beaudesert, Gold Coast Hinterland (Lamington National Park, The Natural Arch, O’Reilly’s etc).

This is a great base for exploring SE Qld, a place to stay with your beloved horse, or maybe you just want a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of city / suburban life.

No matter your speed, you can be assured your stay at Valley View Cottages will be one you will enjoy. Explore our property and make friends with the animals, relax around the pool with a good book, observe the local wildlife or maybe you’d prefer to take a scenic drive and explore the region. There is something for everyone.

We have two private cottages. One of which (Couples Cottage) is located in a beautiful bush setting and the other (Lancaster Lodge) has lovely views of our front paddocks and the valley.

The cottages are situated on our 32 acre property and is the perfect spot for a getaway. We have various paddock options for your horse.

The cottages are fully fly screened and are both open plan with all your usual amenities.

The fully equipped kitchens enable you to self cater. There are also basic condiments for cooking ie olive oil, salt and pepper etc.

We will supply you with two mornings worth of complimentary continental breakfasts items such as tea, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, bread and condiments.

We will also supply basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

There are outside seating areas with both cottages along with either a chiminea or brazier (firewood provided) where you can relax with a drink and look at the stars. Feel free to wonder the property to collect your own sticks / firewood etc. if you so desire.

Quality bedding and towels are provided and there are no additional cleaning costs.

Both cottages have ceiling fans and the Couples Cottage is also air conditioned.

The Couples Cottage is 1 bedroom and will sleep 2 adults.

Lancaster Lodge is also 1 bedroom but does offer a fold away bed for a 3rd person

Please be aware that we are on tank water, as opposed to mains, so our water is very precious and needs to be used sparingly.

Mobile phone reception is very good (if you are with Telstra).

The main house is about 40 metres from both of the cottages and behind our home is a large, solar heated magna swimming pool. This is available for guest use. The pool is heated to 30 degrees (dependent on the sunshine and night time temperature). The heating is switched off from mid May to August so will take until mid September for the pool to warm to the set temperate. There are 3 entrances ie one from the main house deck which is only accessible by the owners and one on either side of the pool area which are the guest entrances.

Within walking distance, along the beautiful valley, is a beautician who can be booked for relaxing facials, pedicures etc. There are also two professional equestrian facilities in the valley.

Your own transport is essential as the closest public transport is about 12 klms away at Windaroo (bus) or 15 klms away at Beenleigh (bus and train). Do NOT book this space if you want to walk to the shops or tourist attractions, although shops and tourist attractions are within easy driving distance.

On the main Beenleigh/Beaudesert Road, about 3 klms away, there is an Ecopark where you can have a fish (catch and release), play some mini golf or feed the animals (petting zoo).

You can (if you so choose) see us during your stay however, you will be completely private with your own access (key) to your cottage. We are of course, readily available if any problems arise or if you want some tourist information. Our mobile number will be given along with parking instructions before arrival.
