The facilities at Sutton Farm Equestrian Centre are unique.

Nestled in the beautiful Southern Highlands, Sutton Farm is easily accessible, (just five minutes from the Hume Highway), we offer a range of boutique agistment options that are second to none. Sutton Farm can provide both short-term and long-term agistment, with overnight stables for the traveller, yards and private paddocks available as well, (we also have overnight camping facilities available).

Our historic stable complex featured as a setting in the iconic Australian movie, “Phar Lap”, and includes stables boxes immediately adjacent to our indoor arena.

The Historic and beautifully appointed, Sutton Farm Cottage is the perfect place to stay while either traveling through or exploring the beautiful Southern Highlands.

Just minutes from the shopping delights of Bowral and Moss Vale, and an easy drive to other historic Highlands towns like Berrima, Bundanoon and Robertson, a stay at Sutton Farm Cottage puts you right in the middle of everything the area has to offer. Hotels, wineries and championship golf courses are also close by.

The Cottage was the very first building erected on the property almost two centuries ago. It’s close to the road, (handy in the old days of Cobb & Co. coaches!). It has been lovingly restored to retain its colonial charm, whilst including all the comforts and features of modern life. The original dirt floor of the early 1800s has been replaced with polished concrete, (sometimes you don’t want to be too original!).

Sutton Farm Cottage is fully self-contained, featuring stunning high ceilings, dormer windows, and exposed beams and rafters using recycled post and rail timber from the old barn and original post & rail fencing.

Upstairs are two petite but luxurious bedrooms with deluxe queen beds, overlooking the grazing paddocks, outdoor arena and stables of the Equestrian Centre.

Downstairs features spacious and supremely comfortable open living /dining areas, with a fully-equipped kitchen, a private lounge, and a dining room to entertain or just relax by the fire.

We can of course also accommodate your horse/s, just a short walk from the Cottage, in our beautifully restored stable complex, with full access to our world-class arena surface and all the equine facilities that Sutton Farm Equestrian Centre has to offer.
