Oakey Downs is an exciting equestrian facility offering a large range of equine services, the Top End does not have any other equestrian centre with so much to offer the horse enthusiast.

Oakey Downs offers an opportunity to riders and their horses to enjoy a variety of events organized throughout the year. These events range from a day to a week. Any event people request we will try to facilitate.

Oakey Downs offers a range of accommodation, from our beautiful lodge, self contained cabin or bunkhouse with ensuite there is something for everyone.

Quiet garden setting; with beautiful views of horses and wildlife in the paddocks. We even have a camping area (horse yard included). All accommodation has access to : Kitchen area – Barbecue area – Bathrooms – Bush bathroom – Bush garden setting.

We have hundreds of acres of riding/walking trails with abundance of local fauna and flora, a horse obstacle course that develops skills and challenges you and your equine friend. You can even swim your horses in our large dam, they love it.

Oakey is available to pony clubs, riding clubs, or the general public to hire for a week or a day. Anyone who loves horses/animals will love Oakey Downs

Your company can use Oakey as a team building venue for a relaxing get away. Enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer in the spa.

Tastefully furnished large open plan house with verandahs and a Spa, includes; contemporary rustic bathroom – queen size bed -king single sleeping loft – fully equipped kitchen – stable doors that open up to view horses- Lots of room to roll swags.
